Matthias Dall'Asta

Born September 6th , 1963, Hanover. 1983 studied Protestant theology at Tübingen, then since 1984 humanities at Göttingen and Rome; 1991-1993 secondary school teacher (Greek and Latin) in Berlin; since 1994 he is part of the staff of the Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften and works for a research institute in Johannes Reuchlin’s native town Pforzheim. Current projects: edition of Reuchlin’s correspondence; studies on the reception of ancient literature as well as in German and Italian humanism.
