Max Stirner: Kleinere Schriften

Although Marx called him the »the most mindless and shallow brain among the philosophers«, the themes of his philosophy were embraced by numerous philosophers such as Nietzsche and Sartre. Max Stirner is a figure in the German history of ideas who still polarizes today. For some he represents ›Der Einzige und sein Eigentum‹ (The Ego and Its Own), a manifesto of freedom and individualism, for others he represents a naive misjudgment of social efficacies.
