Patrick Müller

Patrick Müller studied English, German, and Philosophy at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster/Germany and the University of Edinburgh. He joined the project in September 2007 and is at present preparing commentaries for publication in Volumes IV 1 and 2 of the Standard Edition. Alongside his work on the project, he has written (and has in the pipeline) various articles, some to do with Shaftesbury, others with contemporary British and American fiction. His interests embrace all aspects of literature and thought from the seventeenth and eighteenth to the twenty-first centuries, and he is currently researching for a book-length study of suicide in (post-)modernist English literature.
