Bernard Bolzano: Band I,17: Bolzano’s Wissenschaftslehre und Religionswissenschaft in einer beurtheilenden Uebersicht

In a simple compendium, this work served to introduce Bolzano’s philosophical and theological ideas, which he had published in a very large (4-volume) work (›Wissenschaftslehre‹) (The Theory of Science) and the ›Lehrbuch der Religionswissenschaft‹ (Textbook of the Science of Religion), only noticed by a small circle of experts, to a larger circle of readers. Bolzano and his students hoped that in publishing this compendium larger numbers of philosophers and theologians would become interested in Bolzano’s ideas and above all in his two main works.
