Commentaria in Aristotelem Graeca: Versiones latinae temporis resuscitatarum litterarum

The literary commentaries on the works of Aristotle, which have developed during the centuries, is eloquent proof of Aristotelianism’s unique position in the history of ideas in the western world. Of special importance are the the Greek commentaries on Aristotle from late antiquity and the Byzantine era, which had a broad impact in the Syrian, Arabic and Latin translations. All of those Latin translations of Greek commentaries on Aristotle printed during the Renaissance are now available as reprints, not only the Byzantine commentaries, which have been ignored in other collections, but also the different versions of those works which were translated several times. The introductions deal with questions of authenticity.
