Paulus Ricius believed that the Trinitarian interpretation of the Kaballah was so plausible that he gave it as the reason for his conversion as a young man. In his main theological-philosophical work ›In Apostolorum Symbolum dialogus‹ (Dialogue on the Apostles’ Creed), Ricius deals with this subject and develops his fundamental philosophical and theological concepts poetically and theoretically. It is here also that the famous vision of the cosmic Christ is to be found. ›In Apostolorum Symbolum dialogus‹ is Ricius’ attempt not only to save the »Apostles'«” Creed philosophically but also to justify it using reason with his Neoplatonic Kabbalah. This is one of the most interesting and well thought out tracts of the Christian Kabbalah.
